Coaching points

Soft hands: cup the puck, don't slap at it.
Eyes up between the cones. Feel the puck, don't stare at it.
Gate: pull the puck across your body, then push it through.
Stick: slide the puck under, step over, pick it up on the other side.
Finish strong: shoot in stride to score.

How it runs

One line at the blue line with pucks. Set up 4 cones in a line, a 2-cone gate, and a stick resting across two cones.
Weave through the cones with the puck.
Pull the puck through the gate.
Slide the puck under the stick and step over it.
Curl into the slot and shoot. Go to the back of the line.
The next skater goes when the one ahead reaches the gate.
